Mazars appoints 4 new women partners in China

Mazars is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Helena Mao as equity partner, Ms. Chongming Wu, Ms. Julia Zhen and Ms. Yingmei Wu as Partners.

Helena Mao joined Mazars in 2002 and has over 15 years of experience, including several years spent with a “Big 4” audit firm, in audit, due diligence and agreed-upon procedures assignments for large international clients. She has a solid experience and in-depth knowledge of the Chinese accounting, tax and business environment, as well as the IFRS and Chinese Accounting Standards.

 

Chongming Wu joined Mazars in 2002. With over ten years’ experience in auditing, Chongming acquired deep knowledge in international and Chinese accounting, tax and business regulations. Chongming has taken part in audit, due diligence and agreed-upon procedures assignments for large international clients all over China. She has performed both statutory audit and reporting work. Chongming also gained consolidation, IFRS and US GAAP experience.

 

Julia Zhen joined Mazars in 2003 and is currently heading the Accounting & Outsourcing team in Beijing, which is composed of both local and expatriate professionals. She has 11 years of experience in providing accounting and tax outsourcing services to investors, including owner-managed businesses as well as multinational corporations. Julia adopts a practical hands-on and flexible approach to help companies to set up in China as well as to solve day-to-day complex issues related to business operations in China.

 

Yingmei Wu started her career with a large local CPA firm in 2000, joined Mazars in 2006 and qualified as CICPA in the same year. With 14 years in professional accounting world, Yingmei has acquired proven experiences in auditing, accounting (on PRC GAAPs, IFRS and US GAAPs), taxation and business advisory. Yingmei has coordinated and conducted audit, financial due diligence, GRIC (governance, risk management, and internal control), consolidation assignments for both large Chinese SOEs and multinationals all over China; and her portfolio includes clients of industry, service, agriculture and association. Yingmei also contributed to the office’s internal management (recruitment, resources planning, training development and delivery, as well as teambuilding events organization). She has been seen as role model by the young collaborators in the office.
