International women’s day: #ChoosetoChallenge (8 March 2021)

Mazars in Hong Kong is a place that welcomes challenges: we recognise that critical thinking and questioning the status quo leads to better business practice. That is why we have invited our local leaders and teams around the world to take part in the #ChooseToChallenge initiative.

On International Women’s Day, Mazarians joined #ChooseToChallenge campaign to recognize women’s achievements and promote diversity & inclusion. 46 employees struck the Choose To Challenge pose and raised the public awareness by posting photos on social media platform. To make their participation more meaningful, Mazars in Hong Kong donated HK$9,200 to Hong Kong Federation of Women’s Centres in funding their services, education and advocacy to protect the rights and benefits of grassroots women, as well as promote gender equality. 

This is an opportunity to reflect on how each of us can make a difference to create a more inclusive work environment. We know a day may not solve what could take generations to fully remedy, but we are proud to show our team’s commitment to stand up and be counted on this crucial topic.
