The Association of Certified Fraud Examiners estimate that companies lose over 5% of their revenue to fraud and corporate misconduct. Not only does fraud seriously erode profits but, if handled badly, can also cause irreparable damage to brand, reputation and even threaten going concern. These dangers should be on the agenda for every Board and Audit Committee.
On 29 June 2022, Mazars in Hong Kong co-hosted with the Hong Kong Institute of Directors the webinar “Ask the experts: Principles of forensic investigations into corporate fraud with real case study”, moderated by our Senior Director Stephen Weatherseed. Rupert Utley, our Partner and Head of Forensic Investigation Services, and Star Chen, Director of Forensics Investigation Services, shared their in-depth expertise during the webinar, demonstrating what is involved in conducting successful forensic investigations and how to mitigate risks of corporate fraud with real case studies.
The event was well-received. If you have missed it or would like to have a copy of the materials for reference, please feel free to reach out to us.
