Stephen Weatherseed, our Managing Director set the tone for the Town Hall by addressing the state of Mazars’ business, the possible opportunities and our future direction. He also explained that the Town Hall was organised as part of a broader discussion on the firm’s long-term and better development.
During the Town Hall, the firm’s management presented the highlights this year of each service line and the new goals that aim to be achieved. Technology innovation is also another key strategic issue that we would like to think more about in the future. We have been striving to foster innovation within and beyond our firm, in order to help us improve our work quality and efficiency, as well as to enhance employee engagement.
The discussion also included a Q&A session, where all staff can ask questions about any subject directly to our management. Many of the questions centred on issues like staff resources, policies, employee benefits and working environment. After that, we had a ceremony to award those staff that have been working hard and have the highest chargeable time this year. The event was wrapped up with a surprising session, where we presented a special award to Mr Kenneth Morrison, who has contributed to the firm for more than three decades.
