On 24 February 2016, the Financial Secretary announced the allocation of HK$500 million to launch a Pilot Technology Voucher Programme (“Pilot TVP”) in his 2016-17 Budget. After that, the Innovation and Technology Fund (“ITF”) announced on 21 November 2016 that the Pilot TVP, now renamed as Technology Voucher Programme (“TVP”), is now open for application, subject to funding availability throughout the three-year period.
