Annie Chan was appointed as the Payment Systems & Stored Value Facilities Appeals Tribunal & the Process Review Committee member

Ms. Annie Chan has been appointed to the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Appeals Tribunal (Tribunal) for a three-year term with effect from November 4, 2016; and to the Process Review Committee in connection with the Payment Systems and Stored Value Facilities Ordinance (Cap. 584) (the Ordinance) (Process Review Committee) for a three-year term with effect from December 1, 2016.

The Tribunal (previously named the Clearing and Settlement Systems Appeals Tribunal) is a statutory tribunal established under the Ordinance to hear appeals from persons aggrieved by any reviewable decision of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) made under the Ordinance.

The Process Review Committee is an independent committee established by the Chief Executive to review the processes and procedures adopted by the HKMA in making decisions relating to or affecting the designated systems in which the HKMA has a legal or beneficial interest.
