HKICPA Young Members Committee: Study tour to Greater Bay Area Cities – Shenzhen and Foshan
The Young Members Committee of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) organised a study tour to Shenzhen and Foshan in China for young members on 1 and 2 September 2017.
Forty delegates from different organisations and industries participated in the study tour, and the delegation was led by Mr Ivan Chan, Practising Director of Mazars Hong Kong and Chairman of HKICPA Young Members Committee. The study tour aimed to strengthen the young members’ understanding of the latest development of Shenzhen and Foshan and their efforts in driving youth innovation and entrepreneurship.
The two-day study tour includes guided visits to regional business areas and organisations like the Guandong Financial High Tech Service Zone and South Station Enterprise City. The members also visited leading businesses in the Greater Bay Area to learn more about the technology, innovation and business environments.
