Mazars joins with NDRC and HEC for an SME IPO event in Taizhou

HEC Executive MBA in Shanghai invites Thierry Labarre, Founding Senior Partner of Mazars in China mainland, to speak to Chinese SMEs in Taizhou (Zhejiang province) on how to prepare for a domestic and international Initial Public Offering (IPO).

In recent years, IPOs have been increasingly used by Chinese companies to raise significant capital. The IPO process has also been an opportunity to optimize management structures and review global strategies. At the same time, the “internationalization” or “globalization” strategies currently considered by many companies in China aim not only at acquiring foreign assets, technologies, resources or market share, but also at transforming their core operations and processes in order to be able to compete with international “best-in-class” peers, using domestic successes to accelerate development.

HEC Executive MBA in Shanghai, China, is an MBA program developed by HEC Paris, recently ranked No.1 European Business School for the 4th consecutive year, under the auspices of the Training Centre of the National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). It is internationally accredited and recognized by the French Ministry of Education.

As part of one of its’ “Open Days”, it organizes a seminar in Taizhou, Zejiang province, on 18 June 2010 where Thierry Labarre, Founding Senior Partner of Mazars in China mainland, will address the accounting, legal and tax issues that need to be recognized and addressed in order to be ready for a domestic or international IPO, focusing on the China specificities that may derail implementation.
